Words of Wisdom -

It doesn't matter how long we have been married or how well we think we know our spouse; there is always something we can learn that will help to improve our relationship and ourselves.

When We said I Do

By:  Malinia McNeill Woods

We thought we knew all we needed to know about who we both should be.

But what we failed to realize is that some things aren't plain to see.

Some things require time and effort before they are revealed.

Some things must be nourished and cared for in order for them to be healed.

We have to make the conscious effort to fix what we see is wrong.

We can't just walk away when things get hard or when the remedy takes too long.

When we said "I do" that meant we two would join ourselves together

and give our all to establish strength that holds up in stormy weather.

So regardless of the length of time that it takes us to get things right;

we vow to do what must be done and not give up the fight.
