Tax Season Epiphany

I've never looked forward to tax season. There is so much paperwork involved and punching numbers has never been enjoyable to me. Although many of us dread the tasks related to completing our civic duty, we definitely enjoy the fruits of that labor when a good return hits our bank accounts. Just like we are required to file tax returns every year like clock-work, we should be just as vigilant in filing a spiritual return. We should take an assessment of our spiritual relationship with Christ and invest heavily with our sights set on eventually receiving the best possible return in this life and the life beyond.

My prayer is that we learn more from the word of God and allow the word to direct our hearts and minds so that we set ourselves up for our biggest return ever! May
